A POLICE Corporal who is the nephew of acting Commissioner of Police Stephen Williams, shot and killed a man who tried to rob him at gunpoint at Maturita Village, Arima on Friday night.
Police said around 9.30 p.m. PC Kern Williams, who has nine years service, had parked his car at Maturita Trace and was sitting in his vehicle when he was approached by the suspect, Mikhail Coker.
Coker pointed a gun at PC Williams and demanded his wallet and cell phone.
